We’re on the hunt for a skilled Content & Social Media Manager. And because we’re a company dedicated to driving positive change through the power of technology, this position takes on a unique dimension. We sat down with Michał Halagiera, 10Clouds' Chief Commercial Officer, to gain insights into the vision and expectations for our new hire. Read on to find out whether it might be the perfect fit for you.
What is the vision for the role?
I think it’s important to start with our company’s context. 10Clouds has always swiftly adapted to market changes. We focused on DeFi over the past 3 years and became the first DeFi software powerhouse in Europe and the best Blockchain consultancy in the world (Clutch, Manifest - 2022).
2023 has shown us that AI is reshaping industries and transforming the way we live and work. At 10Clouds, we’re committed to harnessing its potential to positively change the world – and we’re already doing so in many areas of our internal work, as well as through our work with clients across sectors. We want to continue being at the forefront of this revolution and we need someone who can showcase our work to the world.
We see the Content & Social Media Manager as a key driver of our brand's digital presence and engagement. We envision this individual as someone who not only creates compelling content but also understands the power of social media in today's digital landscape.
We want to build a vibrant online community around 10Clouds, where our AI and software expertise and insights resonate with our target audience.
Our content needs to be both informative and engaging, providing value to our followers – but also importantly, generating leads and contributing to demand generation.
In essence, this role is about amplifying our online presence, fostering meaningful connections, and driving customer acquisition through innovative content and social media strategies.
What skills should the candidate possess?
What’s really important is a deep interest in current AI trends and tools. A 'hacker's mindset' is another essential trait. We want someone who is not just content with the status quo but constantly seeks opportunities to improve and optimize. This mindset should extend to content creation, social media strategies, and engagement tactics.
Proven experience in content creation is a must. We're looking for someone who can showcase a track record of creating effective, engaging content that has driven results, including lead generation and audience engagement.
An in-depth understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms is also essential. The ideal candidate should be adept at navigating these platforms to maximize our brand's reach and engagement.
Lastly, we value managerial maturity. This role involves coordinating multiple projects and people, so the candidate should have the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
How will the role be split between content and social media?
We imagine that the split will be around 70% content research and creation, and 30% organic distribution via our social media channels.
Importantly, we don’t envisage content to be just written - i.e. blog posts, videos, but also webinars, podcasts, and more. Trying out new channels is very much encouraged, as I feel that there’s a lot of untapped potential.
The social media strategy must support demand and lead generation. This includes coordinating content plans across different business units, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
How do you see the role evolving over the next year?
Great question. I see this role growing alongside the company’s evolution and it’s maybe good to group this into some key areas to demonstrate what I mean.
AI integration: Given our focus on AI and technology, the role will become increasingly intertwined with AI tools and analytics. The manager will leverage AI-driven insights to optimize content strategies and social media campaigns.
Personal branding: As we continue to expand our online presence, the manager will play a pivotal role in building the personal brands of our experts. This includes enhancing the online profiles of our team members and positioning them as thought leaders in their respective fields.
Content for target markets: With our international client base growing, the Content & Social Media Manager will focus on tailoring content and social media strategies to target diverse markets effectively. This will involve understanding cultural nuances and trends.
Innovative formats: The role will evolve to explore new content formats and platforms that emerge over the years. This may include immersive technologies, interactive content, and emerging social media platforms.
Data-driven decision-making: The manager will increasingly rely on data analytics and performance metrics to make informed decisions, fine-tuning content and social media strategies for maximum impact.
In summary, we see the Content & Social Media Manager role becoming even more dynamic and tech-driven – with support from our internal AI experts and in partnership with me and our Senior Digital Marketing Manager.
It’s a challenging, but really exciting role, which I see as being absolutely key to driving engagement, demand generation, and brand growth.
